DGN-01 & DGN-02 Multifunction Vegetable Cutter

One industrial platform with dedicated processing heads for leafy vegetables and root crops.

300–1000 kg/h stated range1–60 mm adjustmentSUS304 frame
Flexible preparation

Two working heads, different product behavior

The HELPER multifunction cutter combines two processing routes in one compact machine. The leafy-vegetable side uses a conveyor and rotating cutting action for cabbage, Chinese cabbage, leek, coriander, kelp, celery, scallion, spinach and lettuce. The root-vegetable head handles suitable potato, carrot, cucumber, radish, eggplant, onion, mushroom, ginger, garlic, pepper, bitter melon, loofah and bamboo shoot.

That distinction matters because long flexible leaves cannot be fed and stabilized like dense roots. The Group product record confirms separate working heads and independent frequency-converter control of the conveyor belt and rotary blades. Adjusting their relationship changes the nominal cut length while maintaining a controlled feed.

The official English page describes leafy cuts from 1–60 mm, root slices from 2–6 mm and root dice from 8–20 mm. The supplied cutter or knife assembly determines the real shape and range, so the quotation must list every head, disc and blade set included.

Match preparation, feed and tooling

01 · InspectRemove stones, hard foreign matter and spoiled produce; grade extreme oversize.
02 · Select headUse the leafy conveyor path or the root-crop hopper and install the required cutter.
03 · Set cutCoordinate belt and blade speed or choose the appropriate slicing and dicing tool.
04 · Verify outputCheck length, thickness, fines, bruising and usable yield before full production.

Cut quality changes with variety, maturity, temperature, firmness, water content, orientation and feed loading. Published adjustment values describe the machine range, not a guarantee that every product can produce every geometry. Trial the most difficult material and define acceptable dimensional tolerance.

Verified model schedule

DGN-01 versus DGN-02

Specification DGN-01 DGN-02
Published cutting length 1–60 mm 2–60 mm
Productivity 500–800 kg/h 300–1000 kg/h
Power 1.5 kW 3 kW
Weight 90 kg 135 kg
Dimensions (L×W×H) 750×500×1000 mm 1160×530×1000 mm

Record normalization: one HELPER Group attribute block labels the product “DNG-02” and separately shows 1.1 kW, but its detailed specification table repeats DGN-02 and 3 kW, matching the official English table. This page therefore uses DGN-02 / 3 kW and requires confirmation on the signed order.

Controls and sanitation

The frame is stated as SUS304 stainless steel. The standard cutter uses inverter control; an intelligent version is described with PLC control for more convenient operation and more accurate size setting. A microswitch at the discharge opening supports safer operation, but guarding and interlock behavior still require verification.

The conveyor belt is designed for easier removal and cleaning. Hygiene review should also cover belt return, rollers, blade hub, hopper, discharge chute, seams and cabinet ledges. Confirm tool-free versus tool-assisted removal, safe blade handling, washdown limits and isolation points.

Exact product footage

This is the video ID embedded by the official HELPER product page. It is positioned here—after process and specifications—so buyers can interpret the observed feed method and cut result in context.

Use footage as operating evidence, not as a substitute for a written knife schedule or product trial. Confirm whether the video configuration, head and cut geometry match the quoted machine.

Factory acceptance test

Test both product families and every purchased cutter

For leafy vegetables, run representative loose and compact material at minimum and maximum intended cut length. Record feed rate, belt and blade settings, dimensional distribution, fines, bruising and stoppages. For root crops, test minimum and maximum diameter, each slice thickness and each dice set included in the contract. Weigh usable output separately from trim and damaged product.

Demonstrate changeover between heads, belt removal, blade removal, guarding, discharge microswitch, emergency stop, restart and control recipes. Time product changeover and full sanitation. Inspect all food-contact and splash zones after cleaning, and agree spare blades, sharpening practice, storage fixtures and replacement intervals.

Capacity must be confirmed with real product. Leafy bulk density and manual loading can restrict kilograms per hour, while hard roots may be limited by feed opening, tooling and desired surface quality. The FAT protocol should state product condition, operators, test duration and acceptance tolerance.

FAQ

Multifunction cutter questions

What can the DGN series cut?

It is intended for leafy vegetables and suitable root or firm vegetables, producing shreds or lengths, slices, strips and dice according to the installed working head and cutter.

How do DGN-01 and DGN-02 differ?

DGN-02 is larger and more powerful, with the broadest stated productivity range. DGN-01 is a compact 1.5 kW model with stated output of 500–800 kg/h.

Does one setting create every cut shape?

No. Speed settings influence cut length, while slices and dice depend on the installed blade or cutter assembly. Confirm the supplied tooling list.

Is the video for this exact product?

Yes. The embedded YouTube ID is exposed by the exact official HELPER product page; it is not third-party substitute footage.

Application fit

Applications for DGN-01 & DGN-02 Multifunction Vegetable Cutter

Best suited to prepared vegetables and fruit requiring validated slicing, shredding, dicing or other tool-dependent cuts without unacceptable bruising or breakage. Final suitability should be confirmed with representative product trials and the agreed acceptance criteria.
