Custom Dual-Mixer System with Screw Feeding

One central screw elevator sits between two large mixers. Its swivelling feeding conveyor directs material to both mixer loading positions.

Developed around a customer's feeding and mixing requirements, this package brings the receiving hopper, inclined screw transfer and two mixing stations into one arrangement.

Two-mixer equipment package with inclined screw elevator and receiving hopper
Central screw lifting with a swivelling feeding conveyor serving two mixers.
The arrangement

Central lifting. Directional feeding to two mixers.

Material enters the receiving hopper and is lifted by the screw elevator positioned between the two mixers. At the delivery end, the feeding conveyor can swivel to align with the loading position of either mixer.

This shared feeding arrangement serves both mixing stations: the conveyor changes direction to feed the selected mixer. The layout keeps the screw elevator in the centre and connects it to the two mixer loading positions.

Configuration planning

Design the connections around the batch.

Material and feeding

Tell us the material, particle size, temperature, bulk density and required feed rate. These inputs guide the hopper, screw geometry, inclination and transfer height.

Two-station workflow

Define the batch size for each mixer, filling sequence, recipe changeover and discharge route. Feed selection, metering, weighing and control interlocks are agreed in the project scope.

Layout and access

Share the available footprint and headroom, operator positions, maintenance access and cleaning requirements. The approved layout defines the final equipment positions and working clearances.

Project specifications

Mixer model, working volume, throughput, motor power, electrical supply, material grades and automation scope are specified for each order. Request a quotation and layout for your application.

Can this arrangement be adapted?

Send your process and layout requirements. HELPER can review a similar two-mixer configuration and define the feeding equipment and interfaces for your order.

Is there a fixed capacity?

This is a custom package. Capacity and the feeding sequence depend on the selected mixers and material. They are confirmed in the project quotation and drawings.
