Start from the product you want to make

Select an application and production scale to identify the relevant Helper equipment family.

Who should use this selector?

Food manufacturers

Find a starting equipment family when launching noodles, dumplings, sausage, vegetable or packaged food products.

Factory planners and consultants

Organize an early process direction before preparing a factory layout, utility schedule or equipment list.

Procurement teams and distributors

Translate a product idea and target scale into a focused technical conversation with Helper.

Questions this tool helps answer

  • Which machine family is used for my finished product?
  • Do I need a standalone machine or a production line?
  • Which process parameters must be confirmed before quotation?
  • What information should I send to an equipment engineer?

Why product definition matters

Capacity alone does not identify the correct machine. Product geometry, casing or wrapper format, recipe, temperature, automation level and downstream handling all affect the final configuration.

Equipment selection examples

Fresh ramen factory: Start with noodle lines, then confirm dough recipe, sheet width, resting process, cutting format, capacity and packaging.

Frozen dumpling factory: Review dough preparation, wrapper sheeting, filling and forming, freezing, inspection and packaging as one balanced process.

Cooked sausage factory: Selection may include meat preparation, vacuum filling, linking or clipping, smokehouse processing, cooling and packaging.

Food processing equipment selector FAQ

Can one machine produce several food formats?

Some platforms support different tools or recipes, but each product geometry, material and capacity should be confirmed through trials and an approved configuration.

When do I need a complete production line?

A line is appropriate when several connected operations must achieve one accepted output, hygiene standard and automation target.

Is target capacity enough to select equipment?

No. Product size, recipe, temperature, process sequence, utilities, cleaning and downstream handling also affect selection.

What happens after I receive a tool result?

Review the suggested equipment family, then send product samples or specifications and a project brief for engineering confirmation.

Next step

Use the result as a starting point, then send the product format and capacity target to Helper for a technical recommendation.
