A former solves a defined forming operation. A complete production line must also stabilize what enters the former and what happens to each piece after discharge.
Best suited when dough or wrapper supply, filling preparation, operator loading and downstream transfer are already controlled and can match the selected machine.
Add only the preparation, conveyor, tray-loading or inspection modules needed to remove a known bottleneck while preserving proven factory operations.
Appropriate for a new factory route or when preparation, forming, steaming or freezing, cooling and packing must share one capacity and layout plan.
The larger line is not automatically the better choice. Choose the smallest scope that reliably owns every critical interface.

This independently filmed visit to a CJ CheilJedang/Bibigo dumpling factory follows mass production across preparation, forming and downstream factory operations. It helps make the page’s central distinction visible: a former is one operation, while a complete route must also control what arrives before it and what happens to formed pieces afterward.
The footage makes multiple responsibility boundaries visible around the former: ingredient and filling preparation, dough or wrapper supply, repeated forming, orderly transfer and downstream treatment and packing. A buyer can use those boundaries to decide which interfaces are already controlled and which must be included in the project scope.

The ZPJ-II forming module is published at 6,000–18,000 pieces per hour. HELPER's steamed dumpling line references 500, 1,000 and 1,500 kg/h configurations. The frozen dumpling line does not have one verified whole-line capacity in the current evidence set.
These figures describe different scopes and units. Convert them only after piece weight, accepted yield and downstream residence time are known.
