GN-1200III Sausage Linking & Hanging System

A servo-controlled new-generation twin-tube linker uses PLC and frequency control to coordinate portion twisting with automatic hanging to reduce manual transfer between filling and thermal processing.

Integrated forming flow

Move linked sausages from filler to smoke stick with fewer handoffs

The HELPER GN-1200III is published as a new-generation system that combines a high-speed twisting module with an automatic hanging machine. In a complete cell, a compatible vacuum filler meters the emulsion, the linker establishes portion length and twists, and the hanger lays linked product onto rods or hanging positions for the next production stage.

The attributable product records describe a double filling/twisting-tube structure. While one tube is operating, the second can support a faster casing change strategy, reducing auxiliary time and casing waste. Servo control coordinates motion, and twisting length and twist count are recipe-adjustable. The system is also described as stopping when casing runs out.

Natural, collagen and cellulose casings are listed across HELPER Group records, with applications including hot dogs, mini sausages and other twisted products. Compatibility should still be proven with the selected casing supplier, calibre, emulsion, filling pressure and thermal-process requirements.

Why hanging quality matters

Inconsistent loop length or crowded rods can create touching products, uneven smoke or cook exposure, marks and difficult unloading. An engineered linking-and-hanging cell controls portion geometry and rod loading together rather than treating them as unrelated operations.

The hanger must be matched to trolley width, smokehouse rail, rod design and maximum loaded mass. The published unilateral hang dimension is a reference, not proof that every existing plant trolley will fit.

Process sequence

Four synchronized steps protect continuous output

01 · PortionThe connected filler supplies a repeatable meat volume to the active tube.
02 · TwistServo motion establishes the programmed link length and twist count.
03 · TransferLinked chains move toward the hanger without uncontrolled stretching or pile-up.
04 · HangThe automatic module distributes product at a defined unilateral hanging length.

Nominal twisting speed is not the same as finished sausages per minute. Portion length, required twist turns, filler delivery, casing changes and hanging pattern determine accepted system output. The FAT should measure correctly portioned and properly hung product.

Data boundary: one combined-system page prints a 15–800 mm twist range, while the more specific automatic-linker page and multilingual application mirrors publish 15–180 mm. The signed schedule and sample test must govern; this page does not silently select the broader claim.

Configuration items to sign off

Confirm the exact filler interface, horn and tube set, casing brake, twist direction, product recipe storage, rod loading method, trolley interface, controls language and included guarding. Electrical frequency, compressed-air quality and actual installed load belong in the final utility schedule.

The published records identify the component powers but do not provide a guaranteed finished-product rate, complete system footprint, system weight or operator count. These remain project values.

Official operating footage

Review linking and hanging as one system

The exact HELPER product family exposes operating videos for the GN-1200III linker and the combined hanging system. The footage helps buyers review casing change, twist formation and transfer logic, but visible performance does not replace a contractual trial.

Compare product calibre, link length, casing and rod density in the video with the intended recipe. Ask HELPER to identify which options, filler and hanger version are shown.

Product definition

Engineer around casing and thermal-process needs

Provide minimum, nominal and maximum calibre; filled link length and weight; twist count; casing type and supplier; emulsion temperature; product viscosity; and desired pieces per rod. Include weak, wet and difficult-to-handle casing samples, not only ideal production.

Define whether rods go directly to a smokehouse trolley, an intermediate rack or another conveyor. State acceptable spacing, rod load, loop length, product contact and maximum deformation. The layout must leave access for tube changes, sanitation, rod replenishment and safe recovery after a jam.

Acceptance based on usable hanging output

During FAT, record portion-weight variation, link-length variation, twist failures, casing bursts, unfilled tails, missed hanging positions, touching products, rod count, changeover time and downtime by cause. Report accepted rods and accepted sausages per hour after rejects.

Verify casing-end detection, no-product logic, safe stop, restart sequence, guard interlocks, emergency stops and recipe recall. Run each priority casing and calibre long enough to include real replenishment and at least one controlled changeover.

FAQ

GN-1200III specification questions

Does GN-1200III include the vacuum filler?

The published system connects filler, linker and hanger, but the commercial scope must explicitly state whether the filler is included or supplied separately.

What casings can it use?

HELPER records list natural, collagen and cellulose casings. The published numerical range specifically gives 13–35 mm for collagen and a 30–38 mm nylon semi-perimeter.

Does 1,200 twists per minute mean 1,200 sausages per minute?

No. It is twisting motion speed. Finished output depends on twist count, length, filler delivery, casing changes and hanger performance.

Is the maximum link length 180 mm or 800 mm?

Attributable records conflict. Specific linker and application pages give 180 mm, while one combined page prints 800 mm. Confirm the contracted range using actual samples.

Continue to thermal processing

From automatic hanging to the QZX smokehouse

After linking and automatic rod loading, sausages normally proceed to controlled surface drying, smoking, steam cooking or roasting. The QZX smokehouse series provides the next process stage; trolley, rod, loop length and loading density must be coordinated with this hanging system.
