Should several crops share one trial result?
No. A successful demonstration on one crop does not establish the outcome for another crop, or for the same crop in a different condition. Give each crop its own incoming-material description, requested duty, finish examples and result record. Keep the offered configuration attached to each result.
This planning guide is a practical enquiry worksheet, not a machine operating procedure, contractual acceptance standard or food-safety validation plan. Define any formal acceptance requirements with the responsible teams and the equipment supplier.
Start with the buyer's decision
Write the question that the trial should answer. Examples include whether a proposed configuration can wash a skin-on product, remove the required outer layer, or deliver a finish compatible with a later cutting stage. “Show the machine working” leaves the decision unclear.
For the SXJ range, the HELPER · SXJ vegetable and fruit peeling and cleaning machine lists several crops but does not map every washing, peeling and polishing duty to every crop. For the JX series, the Jiaxuan · JX brush washer and peeler lists root-vegetable applications. Use those declarations to prepare a question, then ask which model and configuration the supplier proposes to evaluate.
Describe and identify the samples
| Record field | What to supply | Why the record matters |
|---|---|---|
| Crop and lot | Crop name, variety where known, source lot and sample identity. | Keeps different materials from being merged into one result. |
| Incoming condition | Size and shape range, maturity, skin condition, soil and previous preparation. | Shows what the demonstration actually covered. |
| Required operation | Washing, polishing, partial removal or defined peeling finish. | Prevents a washing result from being reported as peeling. |
| Finish reference | Accepted and rejected examples; required downstream shape. | Gives observers a common assessment boundary. |
| Configuration | Model, identified contact arrangement and supplier-recorded settings. | Connects the outcome with the offered equipment. |
| Output and route | Batch quantity, desired usable output, inspection and downstream interface. | Separates machine outlet quantity from usable production. |
Photographs help describe a lot, but do not replace a representative sample when an actual application trial is needed. If the supplier cannot evaluate the full size or condition range, name the missing part in the report. Do not silently generalize a selected sample to every future delivery.
Agree the demonstration scope
Record loading, the evaluated operation, discharge, inspection and any rework included. Identify who supplies and performs each step. If several crops are planned, document the order and the changeover demonstrated between them. Discuss product-contact access and cleaning documentation with the supplier without inventing a cleaning cycle.
Vanmark · Selecting rolls for washing and peeling illustrates why contact surfaces and duties should be identified: its own roll options distinguish different cleaning and peeling applications. It is evidence for the question to ask, not a selection chart for HELPER brushes.
Choose measurements before the run
Keep incoming mass, mass at the agreed outlet stage and accepted usable mass separate. Specify how surface water, containers, removed material and later trimming are handled in the record. The peeling yield guide gives transparent definitions and illustrative arithmetic; it does not supply acceptance limits.
For a batch comparison, record the elapsed boundaries of loading, processing, discharge and included inspection. For a line, identify transfers and buffers. The batch versus continuous preparation guide explains why a catalogue rate and a full-cycle output answer different questions.
Keep observations and open questions together
The report should identify the crop, sample, equipment, configuration, observed finish, raw measurements and any deviations. Include pictures of typical accepted and rejected pieces where available. Distinguish the publisher's claim, what the demonstration showed and what remains to be confirmed.
A short trial may leave questions about long runs, variable lots, another recipe or crop, and downstream inspection. Record these limits rather than calling the entire application validated. Neither a visually clean product nor a mass calculation proves microbiological safety.
Bring the record to the HELPER vegetable peeler selection page, together with the crop, finish and production-route brief. That gives the next quotation a defined application boundary and helps keep model selection separate from an unsupported promise of results.

Original publisher pages checked 7 October 2026. Catalogue declarations and other manufacturers’ examples are distinguished from HELPER-specific trial results.
- HELPER · SXJ vegetable and fruit peeling and cleaning machine
Catalogue crop list and general duties; crop-specific configuration and results require confirmation.
- Jiaxuan · JX brush washer and peeler
Original supplier crop list and application boundaries; HELPER supplies the JX series.
- Vanmark · Selecting rolls for washing and peeling
Roll surfaces and duties vary by crop on Vanmark equipment; not HELPER accessory specifications.
